Media education and culture project

Media education and culture project

Arming people with the tools necessary to access information and news effectively and from multiple sources in order to avoid media indoctrination (search),
And the shift to a systematic logical analysis (Analyze),
And producing positive media messages with professionalism and ethics (Produce).
Through the Fada project, IREX aims to empower Jordanian women and youth leaders to support positive conversations in their communities about internet use.
The project consists of 3 stages, through which the participants were trained on how to use the Internet efficiently and safely, as well as how to read the various media messages that surround us, as well as the skills of conducting a constructive dialogue with community members.

1. The smooth interaction of team members so that the delivery of information is the best task we have for each participant.
2. Continuous communication of the participants with the trainers of the Ambassadors of Life Foundation for Community Development to support their ideas and projects and expand their scope through the use of the Internet.
3. We created a “Opinions Box” in which each participant put his opinion .. We have noticed the amount of recommendations for the coaches’ love and passion for the material.
4. We met a young man in the Ashrafieh region who intends to launch a program that makes people aware of hacker vulnerabilities and works to protect them.
5. We conducted an additional workshop for Al-Musanada School in the Southern Marka area.
6. Media coverage of digital education workshops to build a secure electronic identity from websites and daily newspapers.
7. Access to the largest possible number of different sites and classes in Amman Governorate.
8. Training of Syrian youth.
9. Recommendations and thank-you letters initiated by the associations and schools that have implemented the digital education workshops for them.
10. Participants demand the continuation of the workshops and the sustainability of the project.
11. Participants request written or digital training material.
12. Carrying out workshops for parents, teachers and educational guides, to transfer the material to their surroundings as a second resonance for the program.
13. The presence of Hacker’s youth, and their awareness of electronic crimes, which made them rethink their future.
